Our Products

We supply bark and mulch commercially and residentially to the Sacramento, Placer and Yuba County area. We offer four different colors in our high-quality, shredded bark: blond, brown, red and black. Colored Mulches are generally produced from recycled wood waste such as pallets and old lumber. This product has a medium texture and can provide very bold colors, and beautiful ground cover.

Bark is used as a mulch, which is placed on the topsoil in gardens, flower beds, backyards, parks and recreational areas. Bark refreshes, revives and finishes the look of an outdoor space but there are numerous other benefits to using bark:

• Helps reduce water evaporation from the topsoil by 25-50%
• Helps control soil erosions from heavy rains or irrigation
• Helps reduce weed growth, which could further reduce the moisture in the soil.

50/50 is a soil blend of vegetative matter derived of mostly of compost and soil. It is a versatile mix that can be used for vegetable gardens, planter boxes, flowers beds,fruit trees and sod.

Fill dirt is a soil that is used to either fill holes and depressions or to build up mounds and create elevation in a property. It is a subsoil taken from beneath topsoil that has little to no biological or organic material in it. This is important because decomposition of this material could lead to pockets of space and settling, which could damage structures built on the soil. Screened fill dirt has had the rocks, debris, trash, clay clods and roots removed from it. This makes it easier to work with, free of debris, and more stable for construction purposes.

We have a top grade screened topsoil that can be used effectively for many purposes. Screened topsoil can be used in gardening, flower pots, planters, lawn preparation and as a base for a walkway. It can be mixed with our compost, potting soil and fertilizer to add natural nutrients and depth to the soil. Screened topsoil has been sifted (or screened) to remove larger rocks, clumps, roots and sticks. This allows for better drainage, and nutrients and water to flow naturally through the soil for a healthier growing space. Our topsoil has been screened to the optimum consistency and is perfect for all your landscaping and gardening needs.
